This week I speak with Carla about the changing seasons, but quickly the conversation pivots to some of the negativity we all put up with surrounding the gluten free diet. Carla recalls how she once left her family in a restaurant because she was frustrated with others not understanding the seriousness of the diet. I also mentioned the BBC show Saturday Kitchen, which has caused a great deal of controversy because a celebrity chef minimized the gluten free diet and actually served bread to a celiac.
